About Langley Air Force Base
Langley Air Force Base is a U. S. Air Force installation adjacent to Hampton and Newport News, Virginia. Langley was established in April 1917. 2005 BRAC legislation directed the merging of Fort Eustis with Langley Air Force Base to form Joint Base Langley-Eustis (JBLE).
